The incubator sets out to help startup companies to develop games that hold both cultural and commercial value. Game creators accepted to one of the support tracks will receive a financial grant, work space, mentorship from some of the top professionals in their fields, support and infrastructure for business and marketing development in the local and international market.
Game Hub is a non-profit independent project established in collaboration and with the support of the Ministry of Jerusalem and Heritage and the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA), Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, the School of Computer Science and Engineering at the Hebrew University, ironSource, and the Social Space Association.
GameHub is located in the historical Old Shaare Zedek building on 161 Jaffa Street, Jerusalem. The beautiful two-story building is close to the Machane Yehuda Market and the city center, and about a 5-minute walk from the train station and Jerusalem Central Station. Today, the building functions as a cultural center that serves as a home for creation and houses several collectives, offices, and studios.
